Crowds

Crowds can accomplish a lot. They can spur revolutions and shifts in collective consciousness. They can also form mobs and perpetuate groupthink.  And once the mob is formed, it’s only a matter of time until the violence begins.

Actor Peter Fonda, taking exception to President Trump’s efforts for securing our borders with the help of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, declared the following.  “We should hack this system.  Get the addresses of the ICE agents (get a crowd) and surround their homes in protest.  We should find out what schools their children go to (get a crowd) and surround the schools in protest.”   Before the end of the day ANTIFA, the violent far-left protest organization published the names and photos of 1,600 ICE employees.

A crowd of protesters shut down an ICE facility in Portland, Oregon.  And it’s spreading to other cities. “We invite the rest of the country to join this movement, to gather and occupy your local ICE facility until it’s shut down,” one crowd organizer said.  In Portland, demonstrators are entrenched at the start of their second week of protests. They have removed the American flag from the front of the ICE facility.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders and several family members were asked to leave the Red Hen restaurant the other evening merely because she worked for President Trump.  Ms. Sanders and those with her politely got up and left.  Sarah and her husband went home but several other family members attempted to go across the street to another restaurant.  However, the owner of the Red Hen gathered up a crowd, followed Ms. Sander’s family across the street, and continued to harass them.

Congresswoman Maxine Waters, commenting on the recent Red House restaurant episode declared,  “If you see anybody from that cabinet (Republicans) in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. You push back on them. Tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere!”  “The people are going to turn!”  “No peace, no sleep.  No peace, no sleep!”
